Quote Of The Day 💬

“Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.”

-Winston Churchill

Clemmons Community Day continues its vibrant 15-year streak, drawing thousands to the Jerry Long Family YMCA for the village’s most anticipated annual gathering.

Residents and visitors mingled among a lively array of local businesses, organizations, and vendors, offering a unique window into the heart of the Clemmons community.

This year welcomed a key change with an earlier 9 a.m. start, giving morning attendees more space and making it easier to enjoy both Community Day and the neighboring Village of Clemmons Farmers Market in one visit.

Guests were invited to bring non-perishable food items for the Clemmons Food Pantry, adding a generous spirit to the festive atmosphere.

Whether a local regular or new in town, Community Day has become a tradition people look forward to all year — and this weekend proved that Clemmons’ sense of community is only getting stronger.

With six all-conference graduates and key seniors gone, West Forsyth was an underdog at the start of the Central Piedmont 8A/7A season.

The Titans not only defied expectations, they finished 20-4, tying Reagan atop the standings at 8-2.

A crucial tiebreaker gave West Forsyth the No. 1 seed, thanks to their sweep of third-place East Forsyth, while Reagan settled for a split.

The defining game came in Clemmons, as Lilliana Parker and Morgan Maxwell powered the Titans over Reagan.

Parker hit two home runs, while Maxwell added one and struck out 13 on the mound, allowing just two hits in a 3-2 victory.

West Forsyth now enters the conference tournament as the top seed, earning a bye and preparing to face the Reynolds–Northwest Guilford winner.
