The libraries are pulling out all the stops this week! The Clemmons Branch is celebrating "May the Fourth" for the Star Wars fans, while also hosting essential "Kickstart Kindergarten" sessions. Over at the Lewisville Branch, the focus is on a unique "Tiny Art Show" and practical home skills with a tool bag workshop on Saturday. Whether you're looking to spark your child's imagination or sharpen your own DIY skills, your local branch is the hub for community connection.

On the diamond, it’s win-or-go-home season for our high school stars. The NCHSAA First Round Playoffs begin Tuesday, May 5. Keep a close eye on the West Forsyth Titans and Reagan Raiders as they look to make deep runs into May. Meanwhile, Wake Forest Baseball returns home to David F. Couch Ballpark this weekend to host Western Carolina—a perfect outing for the whole family.

Tuesday, May 5, is also Cinco de Mayo, and our local Mexican restaurants are ready to celebrate! For a unique community experience, head to Los Muelles Mexican Seafood & Grill in Clemmons from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for "Fiesta with the Force"—a chance to enjoy great food while chatting with your local Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies.

As we head into the weekend, Friday offers a chance to de-stress with a meditation session at the Lewisville Library, and Bodine’s is the place to be for live music with Southern Reload on Friday night.

Sunday, May 10, is Mother's Day! 💐A highlight for families is the "Mommy and Me Tea Party" at Kaleideum North—a perfect way to celebrate. While many local spots are perfect for a celebratory toast, you'll want to plan your lunch at one of the area's many dedicated restaurants before heading over for a drink to toast the moms in your life. Try two of the top rated brunch spots:  Graylyn or the Young Cardinal in Downtown Winston-Salem.

It's a beautiful week to be in Lewisville and Clemmons. Get out there and enjoy it!
