New Flavor Coming to Lewisville: Shakeburger Set for Mid-June Opening

LEWISVILLE, NC - A new local dining option is officially on the horizon for the Lewisville-Clemmons community. After years of watching the transformation at the corner of Styers Ferry Road, Lewisville residents can finally trade their curiosity for a menu, as the long-anticipated modern eatery prepares to open its doors. Shakeburger, a fresh concept featuring American classics, is targeting an opening in mid-June at 5076 Styers Ferry Road.

The restaurant, led by owner Alex Kazakos, aims to be a go-to neighborhood spot for quick, high-quality counter service. The menu is built around timeless favorites, including burgers, hot dogs, chicken and fish sandwiches, and barbecue. For those looking to satisfy a sweet tooth, Shakeburger will also feature a dedicated selection of treats, including classic milkshakes and ice cream cones.

A Modern Take on American Classics

Shakeburger is designed to be a family-friendly destination that balances the speed of counter-service with the comfort of a sit-down restaurant. The newly constructed space will accommodate roughly 50 guests inside, while an expansive covered patio will offer seating for another 60, making it an ideal spot for summer evenings in the village.

While construction is largely complete, Kazakos is currently finalizing the "finishing touches," including signage and furniture, to ensure the atmosphere matches the high-quality menu.

Quality Meets Affordability

The menu at Shakeburger is a tribute to American comfort food, anchored by 100% Angus ground chuck burgers. Beyond the burgers, residents can look forward to:

• Classic Mains: Hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, and barbecue.

• Signature Treats: A heavy emphasis on milkshakes, flurries, and dipped ice cream cones.

• Daily Service: The restaurant plans to be open seven days a week for lunch.

A key part of the vision is accessibility. Kazakos emphasized his goal of delivering high-quality ingredients at "a very, very reasonable price," ensuring it becomes a regular staple for local families. 

Growing Footprint

Alex Kazakos is a familiar name in the regional dining scene. He is the owner of Breakfastime, the popular breakfast chain known for its hearty morning fare. The launch of Shakeburger comes during a period of significant growth for Kazakos’s ventures; Breakfastime is currently planning to open three new locations, two of which will be right here in the Triad. Their Clemmons location is at 2630 Lewisville Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC.
