History takes center stage in Lewisville this week as the Branch Library hosts a special presentation on the North Carolina Regulator Movement on Monday evening. Whether you're a local history buff or just curious about our state's rebellious roots, it’s a great way to start the week.
On the diamond, the NCHSAA state playoffs are in full swing. The Reagan Raiders host Lake Norman in a massive 3rd-round matchup Tuesday night, while the West Forsyth Titans continue their own postseason push. Pro ball is back in town Friday as the Winston-Salem Dash host the Blue Rocks for Fireworks Friday at Truist Stadium.
If you're looking for a "can't miss" weekend trip, the Carolina Chili Cookoff in Thomasville and RuralFest in Rural Hall are both happening Saturday. Closer to home, the nightlife scene is packed: Boondocks Martinis & Tavern features Aleena Boone on Saturday afternoon, and Incendiary Brewing brings the blues to the patio with Camel City Blues on Saturday evening.
It's a big week for the community — get out there and enjoy it.
