Clemmons showed up — again — for the 15th Annual Community Day at Jerry Long YMCA |
Thousands of residents turned out Saturday for a free day of local vendors, live connections, and a side-by-side Farmers Market — with a new earlier start that gave the community even more time to explore. |
Fifteen years in, Clemmons Community Day hasn't lost a step. The Jerry Long Family YMCA hosted another packed Saturday last weekend as thousands of residents and visitors filled the grounds for the area's signature community gathering — free to attend, open to everyone, and as lively as ever.
Local businesses, vendors, and organizations spread across the venue, giving attendees a rare chance to see the full fabric of the Clemmons community in a single afternoon. For longtime regulars, it's become one of those events that anchors the calendar. For newcomers, it's often the fastest way to learn what makes the area tick.
This year brought one notable change: a new 9 a.m. start time, an hour earlier than in previous years. The adjustment gave the morning crowd more room to breathe and made it easier to pair Community Day with the Village of Clemmons Farmers Market running alongside it — two events, one trip, and a full morning well spent.
Organizers also encouraged attendees to bring canned or non-perishable food donations for the Clemmons Food Pantry, adding a quiet layer of purpose to an already feel-good day.
What made the day
Clemmons Community Day has been running long enough to become something people plan around — and this year's turnout suggests that tradition isn't slowing down. Mark your calendar for 2027. It'll be back. |
