Lauren Garner has played a vital role in Clemmons for more than 25 years, leading faith education at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.

Inspired by her upbringing in a tight-knit, service-oriented family, Lauren grew up volunteering and staying active through outdoor adventures and sports.

After earning her degree from Stetson University, she returned home to teach high school English and soon blended classroom work with church outreach.

Her journey brought her to Clemmons in 1999, where she transformed St. Leo’s educational programs, nurturing young people and strengthening community bonds.

Lauren’s impact is felt well beyond the church walls — from organizing programs and retreats to supporting her own daughters at St. Leo Catholic School.

Family remains central to Lauren’s life, with cherished lake time and deep roots in her faith continuing to shape her contributions to Clemmons.
