Clemmons Town Center Welcomes New Developments Amid Recent Property Sales |
Retail Expansion and New Tenants Signal Growth in Clemmons |
Significant changes are underway at Clemmons Town Center, marked by recent property transactions and upcoming developments poised to enhance the local retail landscape.
In December, Flagler & Newton Management LLC acquired a 6,900-square-foot retail building at 3451 Gentry Lane for $3.28 million. This property, known as the Shops at Clemmons Town Center, houses popular eateries such as Chicken Salad Chick, Spaghetti Park, and Taaza Indian Bistro. The seller was an LLC linked to Winston-Salem's commercial brokerage, Linville Team Partners.
Additionally, Quadpartner Investment LLC of Clemmons purchased a 1.35-acre undeveloped tract at 3487 Gentry Lane for $844,000. Plans for this site include a 9,750-square-foot building, with tenants like Hummus Republic and Heartland Dental already slated to occupy space. Construction is expected to commence in April, aiming to bring more recognizable brands to the center.
These developments are part of a broader trend of growth in Clemmons. For instance, in July 2024, a subsidiary of New South Properties acquired the Food Lion-anchored shopping center at 1410 River Ridge Drive for $7.3 million, indicating strong investor confidence in the area's retail potential.
Furthermore, the local dining scene has been invigorated with the addition of establishments like Taaza Bistro, which offers flavorful dishes from North and South India, and the anticipated arrival of Hummus Republic, a California-based Mediterranean fast-casual chain.
These developments reflect Clemmons' ongoing transformation into a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike, blending retail, dining, and community spaces to create a dynamic environment. |
