Community Unites at Shallowford Square to Celebrate the Holiday Season |
On the evening of December 5, 2025, the town of Lewisville, NC, came together at Shallowford Square for its cherished annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The festivities commenced at 7 p.m., with residents and visitors gathering to witness the illumination of the town's live Christmas tree.
The event featured heartwarming caroling, delightful refreshments including hot chocolate and cookies, and a variety of activities designed for children.
A highlight of the evening was a special appearance by Santa Claus, who delighted attendees of all ages.
Earlier in the day, the Mary Alice Warren Community Center hosted a Holiday Open House from 4:30 to 7 p.m., offering live music and festive decorations to set the holiday mood.
Looking ahead, the community is eagerly anticipating the 40th Annual Lewisville Civic Club Christmas Parade, scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 3 p.m.
The parade will commence at the intersection of Shallowford and Lewisville-Vienna Roads, proceeding through the town and concluding at the Lewisville Shopping Center.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early, as roads into town will close at 2:30 p.m. to accommodate the event.
