A Local Voice Sharing Big Conversations About Faith, Technology, and the World Around Us |
One of the best parts of our Lewisville-Clemmons community is getting to know the people who are using their gifts, experience, and passion to build something meaningful. This week’s Community Spotlight features Stephen Suttles, founder of Alpha & Omega: From the Flood to the Future — a podcast and online platform created to help people think more deeply about faith, truth, history, science, technology, and the world around them.
Stephen’s platform is designed to welcome a wide range of people, from lifelong believers to curious skeptics and anyone trying to make sense of life in an increasingly complex digital age. Through his page, channel, and podcast, he shares research and insights centered on apologetics, the defense of faith through history, logic, and science, while also exploring the intersection of ancient prophecy and modern technology.
What makes Stephen’s work especially interesting is the depth of experience behind it. While Alpha & Omega: From the Flood to the Future is still fairly new, Stephen has been teaching apologetics for 20 years and brings a 26-year background in IT and technology to the conversation. That combination gives his content a unique perspective and helps explain why so many of his topics connect faith with the challenges and questions people are wrestling with today.
At the heart of it all is a simple motivation: Stephen says he loves teaching and sharing knowledge and truth. His hope is that this ministry will continue to grow and reach many people with the truth of God’s Word, while helping others better understand who God is and recognize His work in the world today.
When asked what people seem to value most about the platform, Stephen pointed to helping others learn how to defend the faith and think through what current events and technology may mean for us. He also shared a piece of advice that feels valuable well beyond ministry or leadership: always listen and be willing to learn from anyone, regardless of position.
Stephen says they’re just getting started and are currently working through two books he has authored, including one focused on prophecy as it relates to technology and apologetics in defense of Genesis 1–11. Those who want to learn more or follow along can connect through the Alpha & Omega: From the Flood to the Future Facebook page, YouTube channel, Instagram, Spotify, and other podcast platforms.
We love highlighting people in and around our community who are stepping out, sharing their knowledge, and creating something with purpose. Stephen’s work is a great example of how personal calling, professional background, and a heart for teaching can come together to serve others in a meaningful way. |
