A Victorian Christmas at the Historic Nissen House Enchants Lewisville

The Historic Nissen House in Lewisville, NC, recently hosted its annual "A Victorian Christmas at the Nissen's," drawing a vibrant crowd eager to experience the charm of a 19th-century holiday celebration.

 

Guests were welcomed into the circa 1876 home, beautifully adorned with period-appropriate decorations that evoked the warmth and elegance of the Victorian era.

 

Attendees engaged in hands-on activities, including crafting traditional ornaments and savoring festive treats reminiscent of the 1800s.

 

A highlight of the event was the performance by the "Victorian Voices," whose harmonious caroling transported listeners back in time, filling the historic rooms with melodies of yesteryear.

 

The success of the event was made possible by the dedicated volunteers whose efforts ensured a memorable experience for all.

 

The Historic Nissen House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, remains committed to preserving and sharing the rich history of Lewisville.
