Veterans Day stands as a heartfelt reminder to honor local men and women who have served with courage and dedication.
Across the Lewisville–Clemmons community, veterans and active-duty service members are being recognized with free meals and special discounts this Veterans Day 2025.
Popular spots like Applebee’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Dairi-O are among local favorites saying thank you with complimentary dishes.
Other participating restaurants include Cracker Barrel, City Barbeque, Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, and Chick-fil-A (at select locations).
Specials range from buy-one-get-one offers to free breakfasts and dinners, making it easy for service members and their families to feel appreciated.

Veterans from across Forsyth and surrounding counties can look forward to a series of events and ongoing opportunities for support and camaraderie this fall.
The annual Veterans Day Ceremony returns to the Carolina Field of Honor at Triad Park in Kernersville on Tuesday, November 11 at 11:00 am, honoring servicemembers’ sacrifice with a heartfelt community gathering.
Triad Honor Flight invites veterans aged 65 and older to apply for a free day trip to Washington, D.C. to visit national memorials, with the next journey departing from Greensboro on October 1, 2025.
Local VFW and American Legion posts in Clemmons, Lewisville, and Winston-Salem continue to host monthly meetings and weekly bingo nights, while special events like Veterans Coffee in Mocksville and the 2nd Cup Veterans Breakfast in King offer regular opportunities for veterans to connect.
