Forsyth Country Day's All-time Leader in Points and Assists Taking His Talent to Coastal Carolina |
In Lewisville, North Carolina, Forsyth Country Day School has been making waves in the high school basketball scene, largely due to the exceptional performance of their standout point guard, Nathaniel "Q" Williams.
Standing at 5-foot-9, Williams has been the driving force behind the Furies' success. His ability to control the game's tempo and make decisive plays has been instrumental. In a recent playoff matchup against Wesleyan Christian Academy, Williams delivered a stellar performance, contributing 21 points and showcasing his leadership on the court.
Williams' impressive stats include averaging 19 points, six assists, and four rebounds per game during his junior year. His consistent excellence earned him the 2024-25 Piedmont Triad Athletic Conference Player of the Year honor and a spot as a two-time all-state selection. Notably, he surpassed 1,500 career points, underscoring his scoring prowess.
His remarkable high school career has not gone unnoticed. Williams has committed to playing collegiate basketball at Coastal Carolina University, a decision that reflects his dedication and the recognition of his talents at the next level.
The Furies' recent triumph in the NCISAA 4A state championship further highlights the team's and Williams' determination. Overcoming a 10-point deficit, they secured a 69-59 victory over Providence Day School, with Williams contributing 14 points to the win.
As Williams prepares to transition to collegiate basketball, his legacy at Forsyth Country Day School remains a testament to his skill, leadership, and the bright future that lies ahead. |
